One of the curious parts of reading the modern paper and watching the news on the television is learning about what other people are up to – whether it be in your own back yard, or in a nearby state.  This is even odder when reading historic news.  People can’t help but get up to odd mischief and unexpected shenanigans, and the reporters of old shared these activities with us in a way that not only put us there when it happened, but often gave the story life in a way that today’s journalist can’t replicate.  Join us as we read some of the odd and wacky stories that we have uncovered from Colorado’s historic newspapers and our own past.
