We have the great pleasure of announcing some recent additions to the CHNC online service.  The new titles include:

    • San Miguel Examiner (Courtesy of Wilkinson Public Library)
    • Loveland Daily Herald and Loveland Reporter (Courtesy of Loveland Public Library)
    • Craig Empire, Craig Courier, Routt County Courier, and Moffat County Courier (Courtesy of the Museum of Northwest Colorado)

Together, these new additions bring over 18,000 pages to the collection, representing different regions and viewpoints from our historic past.  In addition to these new titles, we also have very recent additions from  some old favorite titles including:

    • Leadville Herald Democrat (Courtesy of Lake County Public Library)
    • Eagle Valley Enterprise (Courtesy of Eagle Valley Library District)
    • Steamboat Pilot  and Routt County Sentinel (Courtesy of Bud Werner Memorial Library)

The additional pages to these database staples have grown the collection by another 18,000 pages collectively.  That is a total of more than 36,000 new pages to amaze and delight you.

I would like to take the opportunity here to thank our partners in this enterprise – the libraries and museums listed above, as without them we could not make the CHNC the outstanding record of early Colorado life that it is.  Thanks to all active partners and all of the institutions that have partnered with us in the past to bring these dusty old pages to life again.  Also – a big thanks to History Colorado for their continued support along the way.  It is a team effort and we are grateful to those that continue to play with us.
