The thought of having to eat unusual things in order to survive is hard for many of us – but what about eating another human being.  Yuck!  Society, and propriety tell us this is NOT permitted.  Yet not everyone maintains this point of view.  One such oddity was Alferd Packer, Colorado’s most famous cannibal.  Learn more about his famous trip into the high mountains of Colorado and how he survived the cold, snow, and lack of food to return to civilization alone but alive – and according to rumor, a few pounds heavier than when he went in.
